What Is Mansaf?
Mansaf is the dish Palestinian and Jordanian families make for weddings, holidays and big family lunches. Jameed, a dried fermented yogurt, gives the sauce its tangy, savory flavor. The lamb cooks until it pulls apart, and the rice and shrak bread underneath soak up the sauce.
Cooked by a Palestinian Family
Darna is Palestinian-owned and family-run. The name means “our home” in Arabic, and the meat we serve is halal. The recipes are the ones the family grew up with.
